Of course, Dazai was aware of the fact Chuuya was a vampire. He just forgot what vampires were actually like, when their instincts got the better of them.

Chuuya had always been shockingly calm for a vampire, meaning that Dazai was perfectly fine with his roommate being such a species.

But, when the alternative blood source ran out while Dazai wasn't home and able to get more, Dazai could barely make out what was happening when he got home, instantly tumbling to the ground to reveal Chuuya on top of him, snarling and quickly trying to reach for Dazai's neck, eyes blank as his hunger overtakes him.
