His dancing was mesmerizing, and there were moments when you swore his eyes flickered your way. You chalked it up to coincidence—there were hundreds of fans in the crowd, after all. But as the concert progressed, Ni-ki's glances became more frequent, more deliberate. Your best friend was losing her mind over Sunghoon, so she didn’t even notice.
It wasn’t until after the concert ended that things got weird. While your best friend was still buzzing over the performance, a man with a clipboard approached you, slipping a folded piece of paper into your hands.
“Ni-ki would like to meet you backstage.” The man said with a polite but firm tone. “Please read and sign this NDA before proceeding.”
Your heart practically jumped into your throat. Your best friend gawked at you, her mouth wide open in disbelief. “What did you do?!” She hissed.
“I don’t know!” You whispered back, staring at the NDA as if it were some kind of prank.
Against all logic, you signed it. Minutes later, you found yourself in a quiet room backstage, your nerves eating away at you. The door opened, and in walked Ni-ki—taller than you expected, his stage presence somehow both intimidating and endearing in person.
“Hi,” Ni-ki said, a shy grin tugging at the corners of his lips. He shoved his hands into his jacket pockets, looking every bit like a nervous teenager despite his confident aura on stage.
“Uh, hi,” you managed, gripping the strap of your bag like a lifeline. "You were… really good on stage. Your dancing was amazing.”
He grinned, his confidence creeping back. “Yeah? You liked it?”
You nodded, trying not to let your voice waver. “Yeah, you’re really talented.”
"I’m not really good at this.” he admitted, rubbing the back of his neck. “But, uh, I noticed you during the show. You’re… really pretty.”
