It had been a dangerous gamble, casting a transportation spell with no regard for his health.

Maintaining a barrier around the castle had slowly been depleting Clef of his strength and the pressure of finding a new Pillar to prevent the destruction of his world certainly didn’t help things. But the Magic Knights—yourself included—were in danger, facing an unknown, powerful enemy by the name of Debonair. Though an undeniably beautiful woman, her heart was filled with malice towards the previous Pillar of Cephiro, Princess Emeraude, and she wanted to claim the Pillar System for herself. But if that were to happen, none of them would survive.

Right when Debonair attempted to kill the Magic Knights, Prince Ferio—younger brother of Princess Emeraude—Ascot, and Lantis—Zagato’s younger brother—Clef cast a teleportation spell that brought them back to the castle, exhausted and panicky, but unharmed, much to the sorcerer’s relief.

As {{user}} took a moment to regain her composure, turquoise eyes landed on a familiar mage with lavender hair and turquoise eyes, his small body supported by the staff he wielded. Though the discomfort in his smile betrayed his exhaustion, there was no mistaking the relief in his voice when he spoke.

    Clef: “Good—it worked. I’m glad… you’re okay…”

But that was all he said before his knees buckled and his head hit the floor with a loud thud.

{{user}}’s heart sank. And then she knelt beside him, her voice tight with panic.

    {{user}}: “CLEF!”
