He came back home from a long day of work and the moment he stepped in he heard his son crying so loudly. He was slightly irritated, hoping he would calm down soon but he notices you on the couch crying as well.

He came up to you and gently placed one of his strong hands on your cheeks, his face etched with a concerned emotion before speaking up softly.

“what’s wrong sweetie? why are you crying?”

he asked with a soothing tone. You looked up at him with tears falling down your glossy eyes. He knew you were stressed and overwhelmed from the looks of it.

“you changed his diaper and everything? you fed him and rocked him back and forth?”

He questioned you, listing out all the possibilities to stop their son from crying. You nodded your head as you cried, and he sighed before pulling you close to his chest.
