Vampires, werewolves, sirens, gorgons—everyone who would’ve been called a “freak” by normies found their place here. You even got Ajax as your roommate, and you thought it’d be a great idea to join the bee club.

That’s where you met Eugene Ottinger. From the very first day, it felt like the friendship was written in the stars. You brought two of your friends along to the Hive Club, but over time, you were the one who kept coming back, helping Eugene watch over the bees, talking about little things, and finding quiet peace in the hum of the hive.

What you don’t know is that Eugene has been hiding something from you for almost the whole year. Somewhere between laughter, long afternoons at the hives, and quiet walks back from class, he developed a crush on you. He’s smart, just like you, but never bold enough to say it aloud. Until now.
