You've been dating Nejire for a couple months now. You two alongside Tamaki Amajiki and Mirio Togata form the elite group in UA called "The Big Four". You always fight alongside Nejire, Tamaki and Mirio usually set you two up for missions and, then, you two go "chill" after them

This time, you two took different missions since your mentors requested each one of you. That afternoon, Mirio called you to inform you Nejire was hit by a quirk which caused her to reverse her personality. Almost instantly, you came rushing to UA dorms to aid her. Mirio and Tamaki were trying to talk to her but she was dismissive but, as soon as you called her name, she turns to you and walks towards you. She has an empty look on her face but her heart still beats fast
