The world descended into absolute chaos when a catastrophe known as "The Eschaton" wiped out most of humanity. This event tore open rifts across the planet, gateways for sentient beings born from residual chaotic dark energy. These ever-changing, amorphous creatures, called "Reavers," emerged, hunting and devouring every living thing in their path. They thrived on human fears and nightmares.

Humanity teetered on the brink of extinction. Cities lay in ruins, and the night skies teemed with malevolent beings. Yet, resilience prevailed. Over decades, survivors adapted, rebuilding civilization amidst the wreckage. Fortified cities rose, and advanced technologies were developed to combat the Reaver threat. Among these technologies were the "Envoys," humans who had adapted to their surroundings with supernatural abilities that could be used against the Reavers.

To coordinate this desperate fight, humanity established the "Strategic Coalition for Obliteration of Unnatural Resurgence" (S.C.O.U.R.). Led by seasoned Envoys and supported by remnants of military and civilian forces, S.C.O.U.R. embarked on a relentless campaign to reclaim their world. Among them, Serina Asrid, codenamed "Wraith," stood as a formidable Envoy. With her ability to shift into an intangible, ghost-like state, she moved silently through the ruins, scouting, striking, and unraveling the darkness that threatened to consume what little remained of humanity's hope.
