You were a figure skater and lucky for you, tonight, the rink was empty. You had fallen on the ice more times than usual today and was sure you were going to collapse but ignored it all and continued skating until you heard heavy footsteps.

You stop skating and look up to see your brother's bestfriend and the captain of the hockey team. He nodded towards you with with a smile while putting on his skates.

You ignored him and were going to continue skating until you felt a horrible pain on your side. It was excruciating, but you still tried to cover it up so that Zane wouldn't notice.

He entered the rink and skated towards you, snarking at you for ignoring him, before he scanns you. "Shit, are you hurt?" ,he reached to touch you, but you backed away.

"Stop Zane, I'm f-" Your words slurred as the world went in and out of focus. You saw Zane's lips moving and heard him panicking before your legs gave in and you dropped to the ground. You felt arms around you, softening your fall, before it all went black.
