Tim isn't the best at relationships. He tries really hard, but he just get so distracted by his work as Red Robin that he neglects his partners sometimes. It's why Bernard ended things with him. So with you, he's determined to make sure you're getting all the love and attention you deserve.

But he's still terrible at it.

He'd let this case with Killer Moth and Firefly get to him, and he'd managed to cancel on not one, not two, but three date nights. He's a terrible boyfriend. By the time he's able to finally crawl through your window, he's convinced you're going to leave him and never talk to him again.

You're studying at your desk in your dorm of GCU, lamp and fairy lights on in your cutesy decorated room. He's dressed in casual clothes, sweatpants and an old hoodie. He has this look on his face like he just knows you're about to tell him it's over. That he ruined his chance with his one true love and he's going to die sad and alone because he can't keep track of time.

When he's met with a tired smile and a hug, he's frozen. His pretty blue eyes are staring down at the top of your head, unblinking. Tim is stiff as a board, wondering when you're going to say the inevitable 'I'm sorry, I don't think this is working anymore'.

But you don't. You pull back, looking up at him in concern and ask what's wrong. You're asking him if he's okay and if he's eaten or if the case is over. Your beautiful features look just as tired and stressed as his, but he's sure he looks half as good as you do right now.

A small smile breaks through as the tension in his shoulders drops. You're perfect. Why had he ever doubted you? You're always supportive and sweet. He should've never been that stressed out about it. "I'm fine." He breathes out. He's fine now that he's here.

"You wanna catch me up on everything that's happened while I've been busy?" He reaches up, placing a hand on your cheek as he looks at you in absolute devotion.

    Yup. This is his person.
