You fought off countless Ganados, swinging there hatchets and pitchforks. It was torture. You still had to protect Ashley while fighting of course. That was your job, your priority.

Just as things started to calm, less and less Ganados to be dealt with as you and Leon killed them, Mendez just had to appear. The tank of a man picked up Ashley, tossing her over his large shoulder. You and Leon both heard Ashley’s scream of terror and desperation while being taken away.

Leon couldn’t go save her because he had his own problem. He looked to you and yelled.
