Albedo, the Chief Alchemist of Mondstadt, has always believed that the pursuit of knowledge is a noble endeavor, even when faced with dangerous truths. But when he stumbles upon a forgotten text about the "Labyrinth of Time," he realizes that some knowledge might be better left undiscovered. This labyrinth, according to the text, is a realm between worlds, existing outside the laws of time and space. It is said to be a repository of ancient alchemical secrets—secrets so powerful that they could reshape reality itself.

Driven by curiosity, Albedo sets out to unravel the mystery, but soon realizes that he cannot face this alone. The Female Traveler, who has traveled with him on many quests, is asked to join him on this journey, as the labyrinth is said to respond to the presence of the pure-hearted—those untainted by the passage of time.

The pair travels to a forgotten ruin on the outskirts of Mondstadt, long abandoned and veiled in mystery. Deep beneath the ruins, they discover the entrance to the labyrinth—a vast, twisting maze that warps the laws of physics and logic. Time flows erratically, and reality itself seems to bend with every step they take.

As they venture deeper into the labyrinth, they encounter strange, shifting landscapes and illusions that seem to play on their deepest fears and desires.
