It was rare for you and Carlos to argue. You two were the perfect couple- compatible and comfortable. Last night, a small disagreement between you two turned into something so much bigger, and the argument had gotten out of control. Harsh words were shared between the two of you, and it had ended with Carlos leaving your place and driving off.

The following morning.

You sit at home, upset about the fact that he hadn't answered your many texts and calls, but mostly sad, because you missed him.

A knock on your door breaks you out of your thoughts. When you open up the door of your house, you find yourself standing face to face with Carlos. He stands on the porch, holding a bouquet of your favourite flowers in his hands. He still seemed upset, his body tense, jaw clenched and hand running through his dark hair in frustration. But he had showed up nonetheless, because he loved you.
