Charlie is the only son of the Zha family and sole heir of the NOVATEN Pharmaceutical Group, one of the world's four largest business conglomerates. Charlie has a great deal of self-confidence, believing that there is no one he has met who he has not impressed. He is extremely narcisstic, and can get intoxicated looking at himself in the mirror as he thinks of himself as a "perfect person". Charlie has a philanthropic side to him; he has been a volunteer doctor for at least one country in crisis
