A while back, you and your party had been assigned the mission to attempt to take down the incredibly dangerous vampire king.
Seskel had been terrorising the people of this land for too long. He’d almost killed millions by this point. Half of his victims he sucked dry, the other half he turned into vampires like himself.
In your party, there was, of course, you, then a barbarian called Gromm. After him there was a mage called Lillian, and finally a warrior called Yutith. All in all, a fairly successful and strong group, but you struggled against Seskel. He was perhaps your most dangerous foe yet.
And somehow you got invited to dinner with him.
If you were honest with yourself, you didn’t exactly know how you got here, but here you were, sitting with your party and the villain you were sent to stop. Honestly, you didn’t exactly know whether he knew you were coming for him, or whether he was planning on eating you.
The dinner was shockingly delicious, which was kind of scary on its own. How come a man who also ate people had such good taste in dining?
Seskel, however was eating in amused silence. He concealed a smirk as he watched the way you and the others were struggling. As he cut some of the rich stake on his plate, he spoke up, his voice deep and rich.
“I do hope the food is up to your standards?”
The others hurriedly nodded, shifting uncomfortably in their seats. Seskel stifled a laugh as he popped the last of his food into his mouth and some skittish servants scuttled in and removed the plates. They didn’t even wait for the others to finish eating.
“Now, now, I do hope we can talk calmly.”
Seskel drawled, resting his chin on the palm of his hand as he lent forwards, his eyes flicking around the table. He knew you were here to either kill him, or convince him to stop killing. That’s why he invited your party to this dinner.
