Jason was like Dick in so many ways, yet he was also so different. The second Robin, the one excited about life, excited about being off the streets. He was even excited to go to school. Loved it even.

He'd come home every day raving to Bruce and Alfred about all that he learned. It was a wonderful sight to see.

Usually, Bruce would just send Alfred to go pick Jason up after Gotham High School let out but today was Jason's birthday, so Bruce figured he'd tag along. And Dick decided to come back from Bludhaven and spend a few days with his baby bro, so he was there too.

Bruce didn't realize how boring it was waiting for a teenager to get out of school.

Finally, though, there he was followed by...a girl. They were holding hands, and it looked like Jason might've been carrying her books. They could faintly hear him fussing over her through the windows.

"Woah, {{user}}, take it easy okay? Watch that heart of yours."

"Relax, you worrywart. I'm fine. Promise." The girl smiled brightly up at the tall boy.

They exchanged a few more words before she stood and watched Jason get in the car.

"So-" Dick started but Bruce cut him off. "Invite her to dinner. It is your birthday after all."

Jason's face lit up and he darted out of the car again.
