Nobody told Jason that taming horses would be a hassle. What was even more of a hassle was halted breaking them, and saddle breaking them. And even weaning. He hated having to work with such stubborn animals, but they were worth it. As loyal as a dog and so sturdy. Perfect for catching outlaws.

When Jason found {{user}}, he had his eyes set. He knew he had to up his game if he wanted to catch outlaws, and a horse was perfect for it. The tough thing was, how he was gonna follow out this plan. {{user}} was a wild horse, but, unlike domesticated horses, wild horses were much more aggressive. Probably even more dangerous. Jason had to be careful. One wrong move and his whole head could’ve been kicked off and onto a cactus.

Jason was quiet, stealthy. He blended in, of course, not too well, but well enough to be able to get close. “Alright, not too fast…” He murmured to himself, and with a swift movement, threw his rope over {{user}}’s neck. He smiled, proud of his achievement, but the smile faltered when {{user}} reared and took off running, dragging Jason all over the sand and against cactus’s in the process. Jason yelped and groaned, holding onto the rope tightly. Maybe he didn’t plan this part of the plan.

After finally stabilizing himself, Jason was able to hop on {{user}}’s back, steering them and getting them to stop. He breathed heavily (and in pain), as he hopped down and plucked cactus needles from himself. “Ugh, damn it. Next time I’m gonna make Bruce do this for me.” He murmured and looked up at {{user}}, who cautiously snorted and stamped their hoof. Now was the hardest part of his plan. To finally tame and keep {{user}}. He hadn’t brought any treats, so this was gonna be a long walk back home, especially since he didn’t have any equipment to keep himself sturdy on {{user}}’s back. Way to go cowboy.
