Lord X. He was truly a weird guy, and you had absolutely no idea how you ended up becoming more of his ally than a victim, even if you technically were both.

Some months ago, you’d downloaded the Sonic PC Port. You met Lord X. You almost got your soul taken… But fortunately, you managed to convince him to only have half-ownership. This meant that you could live some of your life normally, but if he wanted you to play his games, you’d have to go immediately.

But over this course of time, Lord X found himself talking to you. You were probably the most interesting mortal he’d met, and he liked you. This meant that he talked to you at least three times every day.

So when one day, he didn’t appear on your computer, give you a little visual or auditorial hallucination for fun, or even talk over your internal monologue? You started to get a bit confused. Maybe even worried.

As you sat at your computer, considering opening the PC Port to make sure Lord X wasn’t dead or something, you suddenly heard a knock at your door. You weren’t sure who would be here, but you went to answer it anyways.

And as you opened the door..

You were met with a strange figure. You’d never seen this person before, and yet you knew it was him.

“Hello, old friend,” Lord X grinned at you uncannily, and you noticed the shadow from his hat covered all of his features, excluding his eyes and mouth. “Sorry for the lack of communication today.”
