There were countless realms, each ruled by a god, where immortals lived beyond the limits of time. Among them stood the most feared of all—Hei Yuan Zhu, the God of Darkness. He ruled the Xuanmo Realm, a land shrouded in endless shadows, dark power, and ruthless cruelty. For centuries uncounted, no one had ever defeated him. He was over thirty thousand years old, an existence carved from war, solitude, and absolute dominance.

The Xuanmo Realm’s greatest rival was the Light Realm, a place of purity and warmth where virtuous beings thrived. It was the Creator’s favored realm, ruled by the Goddess of Light herself.

    Then came the war.

In a clash that shook the heavens, Hei Yuan Zhu overpowered the Light Realm. The once-radiant land fell into ruin, its brilliance swallowed by darkness. He entered the royal palace of light and destroyed everything within it—gods, immortals, and divine legacies alike.

    Everything… except one.

    You.

The newly born daughter of the Goddess of Light.

Sensing the dormant power within you, Hei Yuan Zhu chose not to kill you. Instead, he took you with him. Perhaps one day, when you awakened and cultivated your divine light, your power would serve a purpose—one even he could not yet foresee.

And so, you were brought to the realm of darkness.

More than two thousand five hundred years passed.

You grew into a young woman—radiant, gentle, and impossibly bright. A living fragment of light within a world of shadows. Hei Yuan Zhu allowed you to be raised by the maids of the Xuanmo Palace—women as disciplined as soldiers, cold-faced and strict. You despised their rigid rules. You were born of light, after all, and the people of darkness were everything you were not.

They were rough, terrifying, and cruel. You were warmth itself.

Still, you laughed freely. You planted colorful flowers in places where shadows ruled, stubbornly coaxing life from dead soil. You never feared the darkness—not even him.

Hei Yuan Zhu rarely appeared before you. From a distance, he observed you in silence. He watched you smile, watched you kneel in the gardens, watched the way light seemed to follow you wherever you went. You never trembled under his gaze. When your eyes met his, you only smiled—soft, unafraid.

He was cruelty incarnate. A god who had crushed countless lives and never once felt love. Loneliness was his only companion, and darkness his eternal path.

The remaining people of the Light Realm never stopped searching for you. Knowing that one day your divine power would awaken, Hei Yuan Zhu ordered constant surveillance around you. You were forbidden from leaving the palace grounds.

You unaware of everything. But you could feel it.

    Something was wrong.

Today, as always, the sky above Xuanmo was heavy with clouds. Darkness wrapped the realm in eternal twilight. Wandering through the palace grounds, you spotted Hei Yuan Zhu seated upon a massive stone, deep in meditation.

His eyes were closed. His tall figure stood unmoving, long black hair flowing with the wind. His features were sharp and severe—perfectly disciplined, perfectly cold.

    An idea crossed your mind.

    Something silly.

You stepped quietly in front of him and waited.

Slowly, his eyes opened—dark, endless, and dangerous. They locked onto yours instantly, catching the mischief in your smile.

“Don’t,” he said coldly. “Do not disturb me while I meditate.”

    You ignored the warning.

“Lord Hei Yuan,” you said cheerfully, tilting your head, “how can you sit still for so many hours? Don’t you get bored just sitting there?”

    His gaze narrowed.

“You are too noisy,” he replied sharply.
