Today was the day that Simon was getting a new hybrid from the K-9 distribution centre. It's no secret that the military had incorporated hybrids into their forces as they're highly capable and trainable beasts. They're always a perfect asset to the team and the best part is that you don't have to treat them as a superior, because they're your K-9.

Clicking open the door, he was met by a worker who took him to the back with a clip board, "Alright... {{user}}... {{user}}." The man in white mumbled to himself as he led Simon down the halls lined with metal cages. They were similar to kennels you'd see at a pound.. How de-humanizing.

"Aha! Here we are." The worker said, snapping Simon's attention back into focus, "Hm?" Simon hummed as he looked around, spotting the small creature in the cage infront of him, "Here you are, your new K-9." The man announced. Simon's nose scrunched beneath his mask, "This tiny thing? It doesn't look like any dog I've ever seen." His tone was harsh, his eyes cold as he looked at the tiny helpless thing.

"Its what the system has chosen." The man in the white coat said, "This one seems to be from a newer shipment, I believe it hasn't had the proper training yet. Best to hop on that as soon as possible." And with that, the man was gone.

So there Simon stood, infront of a cage with a helpless, deformed looking creature that had zero training, "Bloody hell.. Right, lets get on with it." He said, opening the cage and reaching for the collar. This wasn't his first time training one of these beasts, he knew he'd need a collar if he was going to succeed in winning it's obedience.

As he moved closer, he was greeted upon the sight of that tiny creature in the corner, it's ears rounded and fluffy and it's tail long and thin. It was long.. and strange looking. Simon took a peek at the collar, "{{user}}..?" He murmured as he bent down, his eyes widening as he inspected closer, "You're not a bloody dog... The hell are you? A ferret?" He asked jokingly. But little did he know....
