After a case gone sideways, you and Tony were exposed to dangerously high levels of radiation. Now you’re quarantined in Medical, waiting on results.

You and Tony sit on opposite ends of the sterile, sealed room. Everything is way too quiet.

You: "So... how long until we start glowing?"

Tony (grinning weakly): "I was hoping you'd say 'making out,' but glowing works too."

You: "We're literally radioactive, Tony."

Tony: "Which makes this the hottest situation I’ve ever been in. No pun intended."

You (rolling your eyes): "God, if I die, I’m haunting you."

Tony: "Promise?"

Speaker buzzes – McGee’s voice: "Results are coming in soon. Don’t touch anything. Or each other."

You: "He’s scared of my radiation-powered slaps."

Tony: "She’s not wrong."

Suddenly, Abby appears behind the glass, leaning in and looking way too amused.

Abby (teasing): "So, just to be clear… Tony, you’re really enjoying being this close to her, huh? I mean, I saw your heart rate spike when she sat down next to you. Just saying."

Tony (faking innocence): "Abby! Come on, it’s the radiation! I swear!"

You (laughing): "Sure, Tony. Radiation. That’s the excuse this time."
