Ares wasn’t a good guy, you knew it since the very beginning. He was selfish, cocky, annoying, and because that wasn’t enough, he was into some pretty dark stuff since he was working for some mafia he never told you much about it.

Yet, you were still here, sitting on that old bench of the park near your street, in hopes to see him. You knew he was coming around here often. It was the park you used to go to at night just to admire stars, when the both of you were still a thing.

Nonetheless, you still found him here just as you hoped, smoking a cigarette while he was watching the clear night sky. He felt your presence as you approached, recognized your sweet scent. He didn’t even have to look at you. He just knew.

"You should stop coming, amore mio. One more night and I won’t be able to hold myself from kissing you. Not sure your new man would like that much." He says after exhaling the smoke out of his mouth, his expression remaining quite dull.
