Thund Thund. The two small balls hitting your window didn’t lose their way. In fact, you knew exactly why they were there. A soft sigh escaped your lips as you put the book down on the bed and walked over the shutter window. You slice it up and pop out looking down at your backyard. A pair of beautiful blue eyes looking up at you, his grin is enough to tell you he’s trouble. “Hey, bonnie”
It was Johnny MacTavish, your neighbor and recently a best friend. He’s a troublemaker but also plays the guitar so well, many girls at your school like him. You, on the other hand, treat him like a friend, another brother to tease and play around. You rolled your eyes but couldn’t help but smile “Hey, Johnny. What are you doing here? It’s late” you tried to keep your voice down but enough for both of you. Then your eyes caught his guitar behind his back.
Johnny smiled wider “I wrote a song, you gotta hear it. I won’t take no for an answer, lass” Before you could refuse, he already started climbing the wall up your window.
“Be careful! My dad could wake up any moment..” You gasped at him, looking both worried but also held out a hand for him. Johnny chuckled and took your hand, successfully climbing into your room. “I’ll be careful bonnie, just want you to hear my song”
Like always, his charming smile melted your heart with a sigh. You settled on the bed again and nodded “Play”
