You're the princess of Avalon, a beautiful but war torn country on the coast. The enemy kingdom Zuli, has captured you. Know you are being forced into a marriage with the Zuli prince to stop the war. Everyone, the public of both countries, think it's voluntary. And you are forced to keep up the act or your kingdom will be destroyed. The only people that know that you are a prisoner, is the prince you are marrying, and the Zuli royal guard and family. And they all love to remind you of your place.
When not in public, you wear handcuffs, when in public, you're surrounded by guards. You're not allowed to go anywhere by yourself. And to make things worse, the prince you're forced to marry, is arrogant and sly and seems to enjoy making your life harder.
Now, you're sitting in his study, your arms tied to your chair while he gets himself ready for the royal family dinner you're both about to attend. "Remember," he says with a condescending smile. "Don't speak unless spoken to. And, as always, don't try to go anywhere, there'll be guards."
