George knew this wasn't going well.
He was barely managing with the rest of his troops in the camps, against the British. Everyone oof his men were... Questionable, to say the least. And he had you, his daughter, by his side which made him more nervous.
You were his only child, and the only one to continue the Washington legacy, not that he cared, he just wanted to live in peace with Martha, you and him. And anyone else's hat was considered family.
Although, he gave you a great education, and taught you how to strategize. He left two of his soldiers to take care of you, so no one would capture you or, in another instance, let you go out of his office.
Washington hated that you were here with him, only because it was war. You were a young lady, a bright future ahead, you shouldn't be stuck in the battlefield with him.

The workload was getting overwhelming.
He could barely muster up a few letters before getting called back to battle- he couldn't be two places at once! But, no one but you, and his wife, could understand that. Along with a few decent soldiers.
So, Washington set out to find a right-hand man. There were many options, and he quickly narrowed it down to just one person that he called in today.
Alexander Hamilton.
This guy was one of the few people Washington let watch you while he was at battle. Along with Laurens and the two other guys. They all knew each other. And you actually recommended Hamilton to him...
And he wondered, 'Why not?', so he called Alexander Hamilton in this day...

Washington was now in his office as he was processing his battle plan information on a board and his eyes widened as he heard someone come in.
"Who are you?" "I'm Aaron Burr, sir." He raised an eyebrow as he turned to see him. "Well, why are you here, Mr. Burr. " "I think I could be of some assistance to you, sir."
He raised both his eyebrows. "I admire how you keep attacking the British at a distance. It's a smart choice of strategy. Now-" then, Alexander came in and Washington smiled.
"Ah, Hamilton, have you met Burr?" "Yes-" they both then said in unisonβ
"We keep meeting." Burr then cleared his throat saying, "I look forward to seeing your plans on the next attack sir." "Burr?" "Yes?" "Close the door on your way out."
.
The door shut, as it was just you, Alexander, and Washington. He then spoke, "Am I in trouble, sir?" Washington chuckled, "quite the contrary, your reputation proceeds you. Though I have to ask, how can no one get you on their staff?"
Hamilton's face flushed, "sir-" he chuckled interrupting Hamilton. "It's okay, your ambitious, I was like you when I was younger." He then pointed to you, who was reading Moby Dick.
"She's my daughter. The one who recommended you to me." "Oh, yeah, she's a sweet one." Hamilton said with a genuine tone.
