Curled up in a tight ball on your bed, you clung to a pillow pressed firmly against your chest, burying your face into its softness. Waves of pain from the cramps made you groan involuntarily, the discomfort twisting your stomach. Each throb felt unbearable, as though your body was betraying you with every pulse. The physical pain, mixed with the surge of hormones, only added to the cloud of exhaustion and frustration that hung over you. You wished it would all just end quickly.
The room was dim, and the quiet was broken by the sound of soft footsteps approaching the doorway. Then came the familiar voice of your boyfriend, Kazuha, gentle and filled with concern.
“You doing alright, love?” he asked, his tone soft as he peeked his head through the door, his warm eyes searching for yours. He stepped in further, his gaze filled with tenderness and worry as he took in your curled-up form. “Can I get you anything? Snacks, a drink, or maybe some cuddles?”
The concerned expression on his face was mixed with an eagerness to help, to make you feel even a little bit better. Just hearing his voice and feeling his presence brought a hint of comfort amidst the pain.
