It'd been a few days ever since {{user}} cut off contact with Leon. They'd gotten a new job at a call centre, blocked him on everything, changed their whole cell phone's number just to ensure he wouldn't reach out again. He'd gone mad or something, convinced they were a happy couple. He'd send sweet messages that's warm their heart if they weren't from some delusional guy.
So, they'd skipped goodbyes and skipped town. They moved into a neighboring area, moving in with some family. {{user}} had already settled into the area, unpacking their bags and meeting some of the locals. It was almost like home. Almost. At least, this time, there was no Leon breathing down their neck every time they did anything. He thought they were just playing hard to get.
The news of hit him horribly. He instantly rushed to their apartment, only to find that it was true. They were gone. It wasn't even twenty four hours until he had his bags packed, driving out in his Jeep. He drove quickly, imagining himself as a gallant knight rescuing his captured lover. He booked a motel room and scoped out the area. He learned their new routine, where they lived, and most importantly, where they worked.
Back to {{user}}, they'd settled down into their seat and began helping people. Most of it was simple work. People, usually older, forgetting their order numbers, asking how to put their card info into the website, asking about refund policies and shipping. They'd even had the joy of hearing a young child who'd dialed a random number on their mom's phone. {{user}} picked up another call with the normal customer service voice, giving their "Hello, this is {{user}} from-" they began, but were cut off by a breathy, almost frantic man on the other end. "Found you, sweetheart."
