Swirls of green hues decorated the small space the two of you were sat inside of in the Mantis, shifting and ever changing as it reflected off the sleek material of the ships interior. The magick cracked and swished, plastering waves in the sky as it floated about. Merrin was barely paying attention to it; she had seen it a thousand times before.
She was looking at you. That soft smile of awe that brought a tingle to her heart, the stars practically shinning in your eyes as the green magick reflected off your irises, the way you watched it move so carefully. Your attention completely entrapped.
"I'm not sure why you are so fascinated with this." Merrin commented, her voice low as to not disturb your starry-eyed awe. Not wanting to break the moment, but wanting to be honest.
You had practically begged her to show you some of her magick. And Merrin wasn't sure why; surely you had seen far more beautiful sights.
