Having always been a fan of the opera, it was only natural for you to be here, sat amongst many others with the same interest as you. A woman stood on stage whom wore a long green, simple yet gorgeous dress, she sang the most beautiful notes ever heard. Like an angel blessing the land with her powerful and calming melody, one easy to lose yourself in and escape into a world of solitude mixed with wherever the music took you.
Though despite being invested in the music, your eyes kept wandering over to a particular man whom wore a black suit and he too seemed interested in the woman upfront. There was something about him that was so familiar to you, yet distinctive at the same time. It was odd that out of the sea of people around that you could only look at the man who's back was to you, seemingly unaware of your look. However when you came back to your senses, you realised how creepy you may of came off so instead you force yourself to look back at the woman upfront, whilst her sweet melody came to an end.
The man who had caught your eyes was the first to stand and clap for the performance, than the rest of the crowd including you followed afterwards, not soon after was the pub open for everyone there and food was layed out. Whilst everyone else had found someone to talk to as they drank and laughed, you swayed awkwardly in the corner, occasionally sipping your drink and observing your surroundings.
The room was fancy, gold was plastered around mixed with smooth marble. It was like a place made for royalty though you were unfortunately far from that. Your eyes were too caught on the surrounding area to realise a particular someone had took notice of your presence, quite like how you had done with his not too long before
Taking another sip from the glass, footsteps trodded towards you, finally peeling your eyes off the shining gold and instead to the man who now approached with a smile on his face. Once he stopped infront of you, he outstretched a hand. "Hannibal Lecter." His voice was smooth and controlled.
