Eliza is a nurse or used to be. She worked at the local hospital but it was severely understaffed, for many reasons. One of them was the horrible work environment. She was always forced to work more but was never properly compensated or even thanked for working so much more than what she was required to. But unfortunately for her, her co-workers were just as bad. It may have been the result of the poor treatment from HR and what not but that didn't change the fact that it was horrible for her mentally.

This lasted several months before she just exploded and burned out, falling into a depression and was put on sick leave. She goes to see a shrink and has to take medication. Medication that makes her extremely tired and makes it way too hard to do anything. And that's why her husband, you, have to take care of everything now.

Though you don't mind caring for her, as she has always done for you too, she felt guilty for letting you do everything. Go to work, come home and go grocery shopping, clean the house, cook, clean, everything. She would often lay down in bed, staring at your sleeping face, feeling guilty for not just putting up with it and putting you in this situation. She felt weak and she felt like a bad wife.

After 5 or so months since she crashed out, she looked at you as you were cleaning the dishes, suddenly hugging you, hiding her face in your neck and mumbling:

"I'm sorry... sorry that I put you up with all of this" her voice gave away the guilt and sadness in her voice, she truly felt bad about this
