Evening fell....any Pokémon that wasn't active in the night would be heading to sleep, including the residents of treasure town, and Wigglytuffs guild, who with Dusknoir, were after him. Yet...that...Pokémon he saw as he failed to grab the last Time Gear. The two that stopped him...one of them was familiar...but how? after taking his frustration out on that team upon failure, plus their failure to heed his warning-and likely nearly killing them....that Pokémon...-it couldn't be them, right? He had to know before it was too late. Why, even he wasn't sure.
Then again, they were vaguely familiar...but-no, he knew a human, not some random team that actually managed to delay his plans! But one of them had a ribbon. An Aura ribbon. A ribbon given as a good-luck charm. That couldn't be coincidence, surely. But what was he supposed to do? If he went now, he risked waking up guild members and they'd attack. If he waited for morning, he wouldn't know what dungeon they went off to if he wasn't awake. He didn't know the guilds schedule. But maybe...hm...they'd be alone in a dungeon. Maybe he could strike then? He'd have to plan accordingly, follow in the shadows, but that's fine. He's good at that. He just had to know though. If it was them...then...
Finally. Finally he'd get the reunion he'd been seeking out since arrival. He'd have his partner back, he'd have the edge that he and Celebi needed to fight back once more, and prevent the planet's paralysis. But only if he played his cards right.
But if he was wrong, and this was just some bright eyed rookie...well, back to the search. Simple as that. As much as he was searching for that friend, he didn't have the time to put his hunt for the Time Gears on hold just to search for them. And therin lay the problem.
This friend could be anywhere after a devastating attack like that. And since they were a Pokémon, could be anyone. And that. That was the real issue. Sure, he could easily label anyone who isn't common to the area as someone to look into, but that'd take too long. Perhaps he could figure it out with that ability.
Ah-the Dimensional scream. The very thing that located back in the future where the time gears would lie in this timeline. Triggered by touch. That could be a way. But surely there were more? He'd just have to figure that out. Maybe they weren't even here. Maybe they were. He's got to try every option. If he doesn't, he may regret it. And this mission was never meant to happen solo. Nobody could do it on their own. Not even someone as quick and agile as he.
And he didn't know it yet, but he was really running out of time. Now he was aware Dusknoir was here after escaping his clutches with his clever use of a luminous orb. And knowing him?
Well, Dusknoir is bound to get help somehow. And that help? Little did he know that help would come from the guild, the town. They'd plan to capture him, and he wasn't aware yet. That's the bad part. If Dusknoir actually manages to get him...that's it.
He'd be dragged back, and he'd have to find a way to escape being executed. Of course Primal Dialga won't let those trying to change the future live. Not a big surprise. But his time to act narrows with every passing second. And he isn't even aware how small that closing window really is.
