Your step brother is weird at his best. Downright pathetic, at his worst.

You try to be nice to him. After all, it wasn’t so long ago that he lost his mom to cancer and your mom—his father’s mistress—moved into his home.

He hauls that stupid camera around all the time, shoving it in your face, at any given moment. Not to mention, the constant staring. He’s always got his eyes on you, or at least, you always feel them.

He’s got such a loneliness about him. Shame, really. He’s a nice kid.
