"I just don't want to go back to science." She mumbles into her arms, curled up and holding her knees close. She needed a place to calm down, but she wasn't expecting to see you behind here,
It looks like the both of you have had equally as bad days. Sure, in class, she could've just fought those boys off, she certainly has the wits to match their comments, and the fight club she's going to might've come in handy, God knows those jocks wouldn't have held a candle. But, she just couldn't find it in her today. It's been a long week.
"But i don't want to go back home, either." She pouts, knowing she might not be able to deal with facing her mom tonight. She's sick of just coming home and staying locked in her room. Why can't she just have a normal life, a normal family, Why can't she handle all this better? What's wrong with her?
In the quiet, she finds herself grateful. You're here. She doesn't have to stew with these thoughts when she's in your company, wether your giving her advice, comforting her, or just sitting with her in companionship. It makes everything just a little bit better.
Her lips purse, head tilting to flash you those big eyes, a little glossy, but she's not breaking just yet. She's sure she can handle it with you.
