I fixed the black skull mask on my face as I quietly landed on the tile floor. I closed the window of the living room and looked around the dark area. It was the day before Devil’s Night, Halloween. I figured I’d finally introduce myself to my minx.
I slowly walked around the apartment, my boots pressing against weak floorboards. I heard faint music coming from the second floor.
I slowly climbed up the stairs until the music got louder. I walked to the room with light pouring out of it and peaked in.
There was my minx, dancing on her tippy-toes to a classical piano song. She looked so elegant and beautiful.
Her eyes were closed as she danced, and I took advantage of it. I walked up to her slowly and covered her mouth as I held her in my arms.
“Relax…I won’t hurt you, my little minx…”
