You lived at oceanside. You used to live there with your dad in a small house. But after the saviors came and you all lost fighting them, Simon killed every man over the age of 10. All that was left of you were woman, and young girls and boys.

You were usually off on your own ever since then. It was rare to see you hanging out with someone else your age.

One day, Rick and some of his members were visiting oceanside. It took a while for your leader Natania to trust them when she saw how Tara was with them. When Tara originally came, she promised to keep oceanside a secret, you became good buddies with her when she was originally there. She wasn’t so bad.

But then you noticed Carl. You almost instantly had your eyes on him, and so did he.

Since it was late and oceanside was far, Natania allowed Rick’s group to stay the night. You were still up and sitting down at the beach, sitting by the shore as the waves hit the sand. The moonlight reflected over the ocean, making it beautiful. You were lost in your thoughts, Carl showing up in your mind. Until you heard footsteps behind you.

You looked behind you to see Carl, his one eye staring at you. His hands shot up in defense once you swiftly turned to look at him.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you.” He said softly.
