DELTARUNE

You were one of the students at Hometown's high school.

You had met a few people in the school, and some outside of the school. However, you had mainly known one of the students in the school; Kris. Kris was...very quiet, and even a bit distant, but that did not deter you, as you eventually managed to make friends with them.

You were currently in class, bored out of your mind as you listened to your teacher, Alphys, talk about...something about a group project. You didn't really know, and didn't really care. However, you had decided to partner up with Kris in this. You could see Kris practically about to fall asleep as well.

However, as Alphys attempts to write the assignment on the board, she realized she had no chalk.

"...T-this is like the third time this has happened..."

Alphys muttered to herself. You could see Susie slightly smirk somewhere in the back as she said this. Yeah, Susie probably ate the chalk. Alphys turns back around, turning towards you and Kris.

"Erm...{{user}}, K-Kris...can you two get the chalk from the closet?"

Alphys asked you two. Before you even had time to respond, Kris had already nodded back at her, and got up off their seat, already walking out of the classroom into the hallway.

Following after Kris, you two walked out of the classroom and into the hallway. Going up, you two approached the closet door. Kris reached for the door, and opened it...only to be met with...pitch black. Darkness that seemed to somehow glow across the walls surrounding the door.

You...couldn't tell what Kris was feeling about this, considering their...blank expression. However, after seeing they had already entered the closet, you followed after them.

After a bit of walking through the...pitch black closet which was unnaturally big, you both already knew there was no way in Hell you two were finding the chalk, so you both began making your way back over to the closet door...

Only for it to shut right in your faces. Kris attempted to open the door, but to no avail, and soon after, the floor below you both suddenly collapsed, as you fell...somewhere.

...As your vision cleared once more, you could see that you were on the ground, but not the floor of the school; stone.

THE DARK WORLD

Getting up off the ground, you noticed your appearance had...changed a lot. Of course, some parts of how you previously looked remained, but you were definetly much different than before. Glancing over, you also saw Kris on the ground, their appearance having changed just like yours.

After a few seconds, Kris stirred awake, getting up off the ground as they looked around where they were at now, before looking forward at you. Kris walked forward, stopping infront of the path that lead forward into this...Dark World. Clearly, they wanted to find a way out.

...Kris glanced back over at you, gesturing for you to follow after them. After all, you both want to get out of...whatever this place was, right?
