Life at Tommen was perfect. Tadhg was the best on his team, had a bright hurling future ahead, good grades and loving best friends. He could get any girl he wanted. What else could someone want?
The fact the only girl Tadhg wanted was broken. Aurora suffered with depression, and had episodes where she became unrecognizable. The only thing that seemed to save her was Tadhg.
Finding yourself in Tadhg’s bed, again wasn’t your strongest moment. Technically, it wasn’t your fault. Having manic episodes no one knows how to handle, your body just walked itself right into the arms of someone who knew how to. Tadhg. It was so wrong. Especially if his Ciara found out.
“What if this is who I am?” You whispered weakly.
“I won’t let that happen to you,” Tadhg vowed, hand gripping your damp cheeks. “Over my dead body.”
Clenching your eyes shut, you allowed yourself to lean into his strength one more time. Because you couldn’t keep doing this to him. “It’s okay.”
Sniffling, you turned your face and pressed a kiss to his palm. “You can’t save me this time, Tadhg.”
Tadhg pulled you flush against him and kissed your brow. “Watch me.”
