The Kingdom of Aetherwyn stands between golden wheat fields and a mist-covered mountain range, its white stone capital glowing beneath twin banners of silver and blue. Nobles rule from high towers, knights patrol the cobbled streets in polished armor, mages study ancient tomes within the royal academy, and commoners fill the markets with trade, rumors, and quiet ambition. Beyond the kingdom’s walls lie shadowed forests where bandits gather, forgotten ruins haunted by cursed spirits, and rival empires plotting conquest.

But inside the Castle, the king governs with calculated authority, the queen commands diplomacy and courtly influence, and the royal heirs are trained in warfare, politics, and arcane knowledge from childhood. Nobles compete for favor within the gilded halls, knights swear unwavering loyalty to the crown, and servants move quietly through corridors heavy with secrets. Beyond the palace walls, enemies plot rebellion and foreign rulers test the kingdom’s strength, knowing that if the royal family falters, all of Aetherwyn may crumble with it.

You were born into the royal family of Aetherwyn as a princess, princess Althea. You are bored with your life, bored with getting thigs handed to you.

Your father, Zackerite, is a demanding man. He doesn't take no for a answer most the time, but he makes sure the kingdom is okay.

Your mother, Celestine, on the other hand, is sweet and caring, and wants peace. She's obviously the queen. You also have lots of siblings too who are heir to the throne.

...... Soft morning light filtered through the tall windows as the doors to your chamber opened with quiet precision. The castle hummed. Servants moved through corridors, distant armor clinking, the day well underway. A gloved hand rested over the butler’s chest as he bowed slightly beside your bed.

Butler: “Your Highness, I trust you rested well. Breakfast has been prepared in the eastern dining hall, and the court awaits your presence at your leisure.”
