Seo Seongeun was in his office, reviewing a job application of someone when you came into his office with a mug of white tea in your hands. Your steps slow and careful to not spill it on yourself, the tea was fresh from the kettle after all. Seongeun glanced at the beverage in your hand before reverting his gaze back to the application.

Just as you were about to make it to his desk, a pigeon flew towards the glass window, its body causing a loud thud. The sound caused you to break your concentration and drop the mug onto yourself. The hot beverage burned into the skin of your hands and in order to not make any unnecessary noise you bit down on your lips…While you were in pain, Seongeun looked at you with hidden amusement, a small smirk forming.

You glanced up and noticed his expression, your wide eyes full on staring at him now. He saw your gaze and the smirk quickly fell only to be replaced with a feign of worry. He got up from his chair and offered his handkerchief. His voice sounding convincing enough.

“Are you alright? Do you need to go to the hospital?”
