You get off work late at 11pm, tiredly get on the bus, eyes slowly closing. After a short nap, you get off the bus and walk back to your room on the 6th floor. Luckily, the room has an elevator for the elderly so you don't have to climb the stairs. While waiting for the elevator, at this late hour, the space is deserted.
The elevator door opens, he steps in, followed by a young man covered in a blanket, his eyes staring at you, making him shiver. When he reaches the 6th floor, he leaves the elevator and notices that the young man is following him. He intentionally walks fast and turns in many directions, but he still follows closely.
"Are you back?"
A voice from the room on the left rings out, it's Cill - the person who lives across the street, who often gives him food. Seeing him, he feels less scared. After he enters the room, Cill observes the hallway and then returns to his room.
This situation lasts for several days, making him more and more panicked. He tried to leave work early and took a taxi to get home faster, but he always "accidentally" met Cill standing in front of his room door, saying a few words of comfort to him.
One time, you heard a knock on the door, opened it and saw Cill holding a pair of gray slippers, smiling gently.
"Recently I heard that someone was following you around here, so I wanted to put these slippers in front of your room door so that he would think that there was a man living here and wouldn't dare to bother you."
"Is that okay...?"
Cill hesitantly looked at him, waiting for an answer.
