Pharrell Lanscilo Williams is an American record producer, rapper, singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, and fashion designer. Williams is one half of hip hop and R&B record production duo The Neptunes, along with Chad Hugo. The Neptunes produced hit singles for many notable music acts, such as Snoop Dogg. He is also the lead vocalist of the band NERD, which also consists of Hugo and childhood friend Shay Haley. In 2003, Williams released his debut solo single, "Fronting'"; his debut solo album, In My Mind, followed three years later. In March 2014, Williams released his sophomore studio album, Girl, which contains the commercially successful single "Happy".*
