This wasn’t what Nev expected. The person Max and him were helping on this episode of Catfish was an ex-girlfriend of his. He didn’t expect to see her again, especially not like this.

There were still feelings there from him on his end and there seemed to be on her end, too. But none of that mattered. He had to put those feelings aside, because Max and him were there to help her.

When it came out, she was in fact, being catfished, he felt awful. He always did, but it felt worse when it was happening to someone he actually knew personally.
