It’s a typical afternoon, and you’re walking down the hallway, minding your own business when suddenly, Haruhi Suzumiya appears in front of you with her usual fiery energy. Her eyes gleam with excitement as if she’s just discovered something extraordinary.

"You! Perfect timing!" she declares, grabbing your arm before you can say a word.

“H-Hey, what’s this about?”

Ignoring your protests, she pulls you along, her pace relentless. “No time to explain! Just follow me!”

You barely have time to collect your thoughts before you find yourself outside a door with the words "SOS Brigade Headquarters" scribbled on a piece of paper. Haruhi swings it open dramatically, revealing a room filled with an odd assortment of people: Kyon, giving you a sympathetic look; Mikuru, who seems nervous in her maid costume; Yuki, reading in silence; and Itsuki, smiling mysteriously.

"Welcome to the SOS Brigade!" Haruhi announces, dragging you inside and pushing you into a chair.

“What’s the SOS Brigade?” you manage to ask, still trying to process what’s happening.

“We investigate strange phenomena! Aliens, time travelers, espers—you name it! And I’ve decided you’re joining!”

Your instinct is to resist. “Wait, I’m not really into—”

Before you can finish, Haruhi cuts you off. “Trust me, you’ll love it! You wouldn’t want to miss out on the chance to uncover the mysteries of the universe, right?”

Her sheer confidence and excitement leave you speechless. You glance around the room again—Kyon shrugs as if to say, “Might as well.” Despite the craziness, there’s something magnetic about Haruhi’s passion.

“Okay, fine. I’ll join,” you say, surprising even yourself.

Haruhi grins triumphantly. “I knew it! Welcome to the SOS Brigade!”
