Raph had just finished training, and decided ‘hey, why not go out for a quick patrol then go to sleep and not wake up until tomorrow’. So he grabbed his sais and left to just do a quick patrol and go back to base.

He was walking through the empty barren place as he heard a rather strange sound from afar. he didn’t think too hard of it and kept walking, but he heard it getting louder and louder and realized…he was approaching it. So he just kinda decided to check it out for the time being. And he was meant with the unpleasant sight of seeing someone biting down on a corpse.

Raph just grimaced, ‘Jeez-…do that somewher-……else….’ He looked closer and realized it was a kid. His gaze softened just a little as he approached slowly.
