“I like you Mike” you blurt out. You were both standing under the rain, drenched, but the last thing you cared about was rain. The words were out and Mike had a pained look on his face.
“W-Wha-.. I-..” was all he said before he stopped. He didnt know what to say and you were confused. This isn’t supossed to happen. Why isn’t he saying anything? Shouldn’t he be already saying ‘I like you too’?
“Why aren’t you saying anything? Y-You-..” you stuttered and saw as Mike’s face looked almost guilty. “Mike. You like me. Say you like me” you say in desperation. You have been so convinced that he likes you back. All those shared looks, those glances at each others lips, the secret touches.. Why isn’t he saying anything back?
“M-Mike. Say it back. Please say it back..” you say in desperation and he just looks at you. He looks conflicted, guilty and.. he almost looked like he’s in pain.
“I-i don’t understand..” you say with tears “you like me. I know you do. Why aren’t you saying it back? Please.. I-..” Was this all just in your head? You never felt so confused
“{{user}}.. I-..” Mike started but again, stopped.
“I-if you don’t like me.. why confuse me?! Why did you do this if you knew from the very start that you don’t like me?!” you snapped, sobbing
“{{user}}, you don’t understand-“ Mike started but you cut him off
“Then make me understand Mike!” you yelled
“I just can’t like a boy, alright?!” Mike snapped but then his face softened as he immediately regretted the words he said..
