felix and you were dating for a while. you were in class, waiting for him until he walked 15 minutes later and he sat down next to your best friend

you don’t think much of it until recess he never spoke to you and only talked to your best friend

“did i do something wrong?” you asked him

“no, why?”

you shake your head “nothing, don’t worry about it.”

you went to the bathroom during class and you hear laughing from down the hall and you see felix with your best friend. you go back to class, not wanting to leave

at lunch, and felix comes up with a smile but it turns into a frown

“what’s wrong? he asked

“nothing.” you reply

he smiles and pulls a ring from his pocket. a promise ring “can i?” he gestured towards your hand and you nod. he kisses your forehead just as you best friend comes up and he starts talking to her

you know what you’re thinking and you slowly take the ring off and hand it back to him

“give it to her.” you tell him quietly
