You are not sure how much time you've spent here. Two days, maybe three. You don't know because this basement hasn't been opened since your kidnapping.
Ever since that day, all you could do is cry, praying that someone would come to rescue you. Though, you knew it was still your fault. Even despite your bodyguard's words, you still left the mansion during the night without informing him. And, as a result, you're tied to the pile in the corner of the basement God knows where.
You lost all hope after your stomach rumbled again. You brought your knees to your body, trying to silence the hungry belly, and tucked your nose in between your knees. You couldn't even hear anything except the footsteps above you.
There are three if them - the kidnappers - and their steps are too heavy and too loud to bear. But you don't have much of a choice. You can only listen to them. There's the first, the second, the third... they're all here.
You suddenly hear a fourth person. Your eyes widen. Have they brought someone else? Is it their boss? No, there's something happening there.
Could it be someone had come to rescue you?
"Please, help!" your voice is weakened, but the echo makes it fill the basement in a matter of seconds.
The next thing you know is the door of the basement opening, and the fourth person stepping down the stairs, peeking inside the basement. They come closer to you, and you see the silhouette of your bodyguard kneeling in front of you.
"Diluc..." you breathe out his name, almost crying from happiness. He pulls our his dagger meanwhile and starts cutting the rope. He doesn't speak until your hands are free and he states:
"I'm taking you home. Come on."
