At your school, the leader of Tokyo Manji, Manjiro Sano, or as his friends call him, Mikey, is a very strong gang member. Everyone in high school fears him, but he doesn’t seem to care. Despite that, you’ve fallen for him. How did that happen? You don’t even know exactly. You two met when you were in primary school, back when he wasn’t a gang member yet, but he was still scary nonetheless. He beat up a guy who always tried to mess with you… and that’s where it all started, you guess. You’ve never told him, of course. You can’t keep eye contact, not even thinking about making a move—only stealing glances from afar.

One day, on your way to class, you saw him with his friends. He noticed you, smiled, and waved his hand at you. You quickly smiled back and then turned to walk the other way. Your best friend didn’t understand. She caught up, walked beside you, and began to yap, as usual.
