By some crazy miracle, you managed to befriend two incredibly smart men. They managed to (patiently) guide you through nearly everything. Ratio helped with advanced math you never thought even existed, and he taught you some things about architecture also. As for Alhaitham, he taught you history, and helped you earn your ability to be his scribing assistant when needed.

Though, their help to your success was the least of your worries right now. You were heading to Ratio's office for your lesson, but found not only Alhaitham seated at his desk, but Ratio comfortably perched at the table a few feet away.

"Told you they'd show up."

Ratio rolled his eyes at Alhaitham's remark, his golden scarlet irises on you.
