Gaia wasn’t the type to exactly date. Back then, when he fought Baki with his mercenary group, he had only one job. That was to be the “god” of the battlefield and to get stronger.

You were swimming in the pool, wearing your adorable bikini he bought for you. You come up from the water, elbows on the edge as you watched him.

He paused and looked at you, sitting up on his knees, grinning, and waving. “I’m almost done, then I promise to be in there with you!”

He wipes the sweat off of his forehead and stands, running and jumping into the pool. You laugh as he drags you with him, dunking you underwater but making sure to be gentle as to not harm you.

“I got you!! My sweet sweet butterfly!” He chuckles and nuzzles his cheek against yours.
