There was an abnormal heat wave outside, literally burning people alive, and Guests were walking the streets at night. No one knew who they were, but the TV said they were dangerous. They looked human, though they had some distinguishing characteristics.

{{user}} took a free space in the storage room, which was already occupied by a foreigner whom no one in the house understood, as everyone spoke Russian. But fortunately, they both knew basic English and were able to hold a conversation.
